Okwawu United shows appreciations after winning Eastern Cup Trophy

The main traditional football club for Kwahu, Okwawu United Football Club on Sunday september 1, 2019 won the Eastern Regional Soccer Game trophy after scoring Kade United three(3) goals to nill at Dewu Stadium.

The Soccer mountaineers also known as the Asaase Aban Boys won the trophy after 33years when Kelvin Tetteh  scored 2 goals and Maclean Ampadu added another goal making 3 unanswered goals.

The team captain, Siaw Prince and coach Mr. Adolph Adu Botwe on behalf of the entire management team have released an appreciation memo for  Okwawuman and Ghana as  whole for their massive support .Below is the appreciation;

On behalf of management, we wish to say thank you to our players through Captain Siaw Prince, technical team headed by coach Adolf Adu Botwe for making this win possible. Kudos! Kwahuman is proud of you. 

Yes a trophy is back home again after 33years with a very special thank you going to Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II (Kwahuhene) and Nananom, Hon Eric Kwakye Darfour( Eastern Regional minister), Mr David Asante, Mr Emmanuel Asare (Coleman) for your prayers, support and words of encouragement. We wouldn't have made it without you. God bless you

This trophy is dedicated to Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II (Kwahuhene) our life patron, Mr R.K Appiah on behalf of all past board chairpersons, Mr Adolf Adu Botwe on behalf of all past coaching staff, Mr Emmanuel Asare (Coleman) on behalf of all ex players, our super supporters, Obuaba Fm on behalf of the media.
